The Ping Karsten Iron Set remains a compelling choice for golfers by seamlessly blending the features of both an iron and a hybrid. This harmonious fusion results in a set of golf clubs that elegantly balances distance and forgiveness, an advantage you can feel with every swing. Its design is timeless, with subtle aesthetics that cleverly integrate effective technology, appealing to those with a preference for a classic appearance.
In terms of performance, these irons deliver a high launch trajectory that can enhance carry for many players. The large, deep cavity back provides generous forgiveness, making them particularly useful for those challenging green-side approaches. The slightly larger club dimensions are comforting, instilling confidence with each shot.
With the Karsten Irons, exceptional balance and stability are key, offering a softer feel that enhances the swinging experience. Each strike feels controlled and assured, revealing the club's strength on the course. While the design is understated and doesn't openly flaunt its technological prowess, the performance more than speaks for itself.
For individuals who prioritize visible modern tech elements, this set might not show that overtly. Yet, for those who value consistent performance above showiness, these irons remain a well-rounded staple for any golfer’s collection, delivering a dependable experience on the course that withstands the test of time.

• The sole shape positions the CG low and back for higher launch angle and helps the sole glide through the turf.
• Custom Tuning Port integrates with the sole to reinforce the thinner face for increased ball speeds and solid feel.
• The hybrids replace the long irons and have a deep head profile and a wide sole to transition with the irons.
• The hybrids CG locations are farther back in the low lofted heads for higher launch, and lower and more forward in the high lofted options to reduce spin.
