The TaylorMade r7 Draw driver features a 460 cc titanium clubhead and what TaylorMade calls Draw-Weighted Technology. It is engineered to help players of all types either hit the ball longer by hitting a draw, or hit the ball longer by straightening a slice. The TaylorMade r7 Draws 460cc head contributes to an extremely high MOI for great forgiveness on miss-hits. That, combined with the extremely low centre of gravity (CG) location makes the r7 Draw driver exceptionally easy to launch. To make the TaylorMade r7 Draw driver easier to hit a draw with, TaylorMade engineers incorporated Draw-Weighted Technology into the clubhead, wherein all available discretionary weight is positioned in the back of the clubhead and toward the heel by creating a deep "speed scoop" in the sole, near the toe. This scoop pushes weight in the direction of the heel, which moves the CG even closer to the shaft. Thats critical, because the closer the CG is to the heel, the better for promoting a draw. Thats because moving the CG closer to the shaft speeds the rotation of the clubhead during the forward swing, the way a spinning figure skater speeds the rotation of his or her body by pulling his or her arms inward.
Condition Guide
New
Only clubs rated 10 for our three categories will qualify for the new rating - the head, shaft, and grip will all be rated ten, brand new, and in the wrapper.
Used certified
Clubs sold as used with the “ready-to-play” certification will have a rating of less than 10 on our rating guide, but have all been thoroughly inspected by our experts. It can be anywhere between:
Like New - New, not in wrapper, un-used
Excellent - Minimal use, max. 4-5 rounds
Very Good - Used, in great condition, with no damage
Good - Used, with some cosmetic damage that do not affect club’s performance
Fair - Heavily used, with some cosmetic damage, but still playable with good performance regardless.
