Ping Golf was founded by Karsten Solheim in California back in the late 1950’s. A putter company at the time, it grew to become a leader in irons thanks to the “color system” technology. Ping Golf believes that golfers around the world should choose clubs based on their lie angle at address and at impact for straighter ball flights and longer shots. To this day, the system is still being used and allows golfers to shoot lower scores.
The Ping Golf company now produces some of the best performing clubs on the market. The turbulators on the latest Ping drivers make the head more aerodynamic for faster ball speeds and consequently more distance. Both amateur and professional golfers will benefit from all the technologies offered from Ping clubs. An impressive addition to a newly-released model by Ping is the Vortec Technology. It delivers the club face to the ball in a much more stable way, allowing miss-hits to fly a lot further than other competitors.
Ping putters have been, for a long time, the best putters on Tour. To this day, they still compete with the other brands that are fully devoted to putters. Ping keeps releasing models that will help you shoot lower scores. Many tour professionals still play with used Ping putters that were made back in the 60’s or 70’s, they’re just that good!
Thanks to the Golf Avenue website, you can find any used Ping golf club at a low price and have the opportunity to try it at home for sixty days. Just browse our website, choose a club and receive it at home a couple days later anywhere in Canada!
